Steubenville Ohio Retaining Wall

Project Location: Steubenville, Ohio
Owner: Ohio Department of Transportation
Contract Value: $430,729
Completed: 2017

The Ohio Department of Transportation is widening a portion of State Route 7 in Steubenville, Ohio.  Working as a subcontractor to Shelly & Sands, this project consisted of the construction of a temporary 750 square foot soil nail wall at the abutment of a railroad bridge for earth retention.  The work area was very congested with limited headroom for our drill.  Also included was a finished shotcrete facing to a pile wall for permanent earth retention for the road widening.
